6# Travel Memories - Barcelona

Barcelona is a beautiful city, you will find beauty in every corner, all the buildings are stunning and the vibe on the streets is amazing. 

I have great memories from this trip, we were not very lucky with the weather because it was always raining especially in the afternoons but it was not too cold as well.

We walk so much during this trip because we wanted to see the major attractions of the city. 

We stayed at the Catalonia Albeniz Hotel and the staff was very friendly, they gave us a map of the city with the most touristic places to visit and we managed to see all of them. 

The hotel was next to the underground so it was really easy to travel around the city, the transports are also really easy to understand. 

We spent 3 complete days there and it was enough time to visit everything however if you don't want to be running every time you should consider to stay for at least 5 days. 

We also bought the tickets for the Sagrada Familia and to Park Guell some days in advance because it's almost impossible to buy them on the same day as they are always sold out. 

We did not visit the famous Casa Batllo and La Pedrera, we only saw the outside, the tickets were really expensive and we didn't had the time, however next time we will go there for sure. 

The Sagrada Familia is an master piece there are no words to describe it and I advise everyone to visit it because it's really something that you will never forget. 

Park Guell is a little overrated for me, it's beautiful but I was expecting a bit more. 

You can't also miss the Magic fountain of Montjuic, the shows happen every friday and saturday and are really cool. This was one of my favourite spots of the city, during the day the view is absolutely amazing you can see the all city. 

It was such a nice trip and I plan to go back one day but for now there are new cities that I want to explore.

Barcelona é uma cidade lindíssima, todos os cantos são bonitos e todos os edifícios têm algo de único e especial. As ruas têm uma vibe muito característica típica dos países do Sul que só quando visitarem vão perceber. 

Tenho muito boas recordações desta viajem, não tivemos muita sorte com o tempo porque estava quase sempre a chover mas também não estava muito frio, o que já não é mau.

Posso dizer-vos que nos fartamos de caminhar porque queríamos ver o máximo possível da cidade. 

Ficamos hospedados no Hotel Catalonia Albeniz e a staff foi muito prestável, mal chegamos perguntáram-nos se era a primeira vez que estávamos em Barcelona e deram-nos um mapa com as principais atracões da cidade e os sítios onde devíamos ter mais atenção com a nossa carteira. 

O hotel era perto do metro por isso podíamos apanha-lo facilmente para nos deslocar-mos pela cidade. As linhas do metro são muito fáceis de compreender e passado um dia já conseguem andar por toda a cidade sem qualquer problema. 

Comprámos os bilhetes para a Sagrada Familia e para o Park Guell alguns dias antes porque é impossível compra-los no próprio dia, estão sempre esgotados. 

Não visitámos o interior da Casa Batlo e da La Pedrera porque os bilhetes eram muito caros e nós também não tínhamos muito tempo, mas para a próxima vamos lá. 

A Sagrada Familia é uma obra de arte a não perder, é impossível descrever o edifico só mesmo quando se vê é que se percebe o quão monstruosamente bonito ele é. 

Achei o Park Guell um bocado overrated, ou seja, estava à espera de melhor. É bonito mas por tudo aquilo que dizem estava à espera de mais. 

Se visitarem Barcelona não podem perder a Fonte Mágica de Montjuic, o espetáculo acontece todas as sextas e sábados à noite e é mesmo algo a não perder. Foi um dos meus sítios favorito, mesmo durante o dia porque temos uma vista espectacular de toda a cidade.

Barcelona foi sem dúvida muito especial e planeio voltar um dia mas para já há muitas outras cidades que quero descobrir.
